About CFA Level 1:
CFA ® Level 1 is the first exam in the three exam series of CFA ® Program offered by CFA ® Institute. This exam, in addition to other requirements, must be passed for an individual to become a CFA® Charter holder. The CFA ® program is a globally recognized standard for measuring the competence and integrity of financial analysts. Level 1 focuses on tools and concepts that apply to investment valuation and management.
About CFA Level Program:
The Chartered Financial Analyst or CFA ® Program is a globally-recognized professional credential offered by US based CFA ® Institute. The program covers graduate level curriculum relating to investment analysis and management, stocks, bonds and derivatives that provides a strong foundation for financial analysis and portfolio management skills. The program revolves around following highest ethical and professional standards.
A candidate who successfully completes the program and meets specified professional requirements is awarded the “CFA ® Charter” and becomes a “CFA ® Charterholder”. Completing the CFA ® Program confirms mastery over the rigorous CFA ® curriculum that is achieved by clearing all the three levels of the exam. As of June 2016, there are approximately 132,000 Charterholders around the world.
